From first principles
to real-world processes.

I’m Sandeep, working in engineering at Tesla in Austin. My work focuses on dry cathode process development and ramp-up, alongside machine learning and data analysis.

My background spans dry anode development, coating processes, electrical grid reliability, and spacecraft thermal analysis. The thread running through it is a drive to solve practical problems and help advance sustainable energy.

A more reliable electrical grid

Reliability engineering
2019 to 2020

Worked on improving distribution reliability in Philadelphia, including redesigning six underperforming circuits. I built an Access and VBA tool to automate cable-data processing and developed a machine-learning classifier for transformer failure prediction.
